EP 26: The Return to Nature Funeral Home: Jon and Carie Hallford

In 2017, Jon and Carie opened The Return to Nature Funeral Home in Colorado. As a third generation in the funeral business, Return to Nature focused on green burials for those wanting a more nature friendly burial. In spring of 2023, the funeral home’s Penrose location started to look a little rough and also started to smell. When Jon is a no show to show DORA around, police get a warrant and no one expects to find what they did. With this disgusting and disturbing act, Jon’s interesting past comes to light, along with the couple’s fraudulent activity and even Jon’s possible connection to a missing person.
